SperanzaEd.

When I decided to start a consulting company, I wanted to give it a name that summed up who we are as a team and our overall goals. That is when I came across Speranza, the Italian name for hope. No matter where we are in life, what we’ve accomplished, or what we’ve lost, as long as we are alive, there is always hope. As it relates to K-12 education, I have seen trends come and go. But at the heart of all change is the desire to see improvement, the hope that we can make it better. Hope can inspire ideas, spark change, and open new doors if a person is willing to look beyond the current set of circumstances. At SperanzaEd, the primary goal is to help educators build and maintain the culture they desire, while recentering objectives for a transparent and effective student experience. Authenticity comes to mind- are we who we say who we are as an institution? Does our mission and vision match our student goals? Do we have the right people in the right positions that actually want to go where we want to end up? The SperanzaEd team specializes in this. As servant leaders, we want to come along side educators and schools because we are all on the same team for the right reasons.
Servant leadership resonates deeply; how we serve, who we serve, and why we serve are valuable questions for anyone looking to improve culture and student achievement. But just as important, building or training a team to see the value in how we approach educational experiences while encouraging all staff to be leaders- to use their gifts in “best-fit” positions.
SperanzaEd pulls theories and research from authors like Bob Proctor, Jim Collins, CS Lewis, Dr. Kevin Leman, and Bill Pentak for diving deep into how to develop a strong culture, competent leaders, and why it matters to pursue excellence even when it seems impossible. Grace, integrity, authenticity, and integrity are key traits for our team and we want to be a part of your journey as you seek to build and improve your educational program.
